Any Thoughts??

I am debating right now about if i want to enroll in graduate school in the fall. the reason i am thinking about it now is i would have to apply for FAFSA and scholarships. i am just not sure if i can take the papers and homework my 1st year teaching. however, i am going to have to do it eventually anyway, so why not get it over with. plus it is like $10,000 more a year as a teacher to have the masters. i have asked many teachers for their advice and i get different answers from all of them. there are pros and cons to both decisions. adam suggested that i get it done....plus then we won't have to pay back my student loans until i get my masters. if we move to corvalis OSU has an awesome education masters program....i am just not sure!

so, today not one of my best teaching days. i just constantly feel like i am not prepared enough. it just seems like i am in so over my head! i partially blame it on the lack of sleep i get. i am expected to be at top performance level and i basically live off of starbucks and diet pepsi! :) i also blame part of my lack of drive on the fact that i NEVER see my husband. ok so that is not true, i do see him on the weekends. but that is only if i don't have group projects that i am working on....which has been the last two saturdays. i also blame the wind! i was in bed a little later than i should have been, but not too late, and i kept getting woken up by the wind. it was howling, shaking the windows, and i couldn't sleep. so, i will blame those factors for the fact that i was off my teacher game today. nothing too eventful happened....it just wasn't one of my better days, thank goodness my proffessor wasn't there to observe me! ;)

a quick prayer request. we (my cohort...which from now on will be referred to as the CO-9's) was given the oppurtunity to basically grade papers, for the state testing, over spring break. there are two 8 hour weekend trainings, and then 8 hours a day the whole spring break. i know it doesn't sound that fun. the good part is it pays almost $20.00/hour! :) i would be able to put the money in savings or use it for our trips this summer. so i got a message on the machine from the lady today. i called her back and i am hoping to get the job! it would be a bummer not to have a spring break, but i would be making big money and it would look nice on my resume'.

for your viewing pleasure...a pic of me and my baby girl! she is so sweet....it is too bad not everyone can have a roxy!! ;)

i'll be thinking of you and praying that you guys can make the right decision for your little family. those kinds of things are so rough. personally, i think you should go for it if it means that you'll move closer! osu isn't that far away and we get down there pretty frequently.

sorry i don't have any advice. just good thoughts and well wishes.

Wow, grad school...I wish I could go through grad school. It's a hard decision to make, and only you know the needs of your little fam, so I'm hesitant to push for one or the other, going or not going.

I'm just excited to have you close again :) Miss you!
