*~~Today~~*

so, today i was really hoping for another snow day. no such luck :( BUT my sister-in-law did call me at 7:00 to tell me that the schools had a two hour delay. so, i was pretty excited about that. unfortunatley i was already in the shower when adam came in to let me know her news. i decided i couldn't go back to sleep with wet hair. i blew it dry and then happily crawled back into bed for another two hours.

i got to school (a few minutes late due to icy roads) and there were 10 students in the classroom. i thought if they made me come for this i am going back home. but as the day wore on students would trickle in here and there. we had one girl tell us about how her bus broke down in the snow and another bus had to come get the kids. she was over an hour late....good times! :)

then my teacher had a sick child and had to leave after lunch. so, i got to teach the social studies lesson! woo-hoo, you know how much third graders love social studies....they can't get enough!! ;) the sub we had was great with them, they were actually pretty well behaved considering the circumstances. we got through our material on time and then it was on to spelling. thankfully the day went by quickly without too many incidents. the little rascals are growing on me....they are no kindergarteners, but they are sweet in their own way.

now i am off to my tons of homework...that i have been slacking on doing in order to play in the snow instead! i don't have a picture and if i did it wouldn't be terribly exciting! ;) do i dare hope for another snow day tomorrow???
