Praying for another SNOW DAY! :)

I throughly enjoyed my snow day today! we got up "early" (9:30) so we could get showered and run to D&B to get our snow gear. i have had my eyes on some snow boots since about november. so, we decided today was the day to buy them. also, we both got a pair of snow pants...well more snow overalls! :) they were on sale, to our delight! we then came home and put on all our new gear and proceed to march up a big hill to the sleding hill. i don't have any pics of us sleding cuz i didn't know what to do with the camera while we were all sleding. adam, me, rox, karin (sis-in-law), jean (mom-in-law), and jonathan (nephew) took turns FLYING down the hill. i have to admit is was an exhausting good time! i have some more pics of the snow today. the sun did come out today, which made marching back up the sled hill all the more sweaty! ;) most of the snow stayed though, and it is supposed to get down to 20 degrees. that means...ICE! i am hoping i don't have to risk life and limb to get to practicum tomorrow if it is bad out there. we'll see.......


This is us ending our fun snow day, because adam still had to go to work. so sad :( the rest of pendleton shut down......but not the woolen mills! he was trying to get in all the snow fun he could before he had to go to work.





This is the birdbath in the backyard. it is a cool pic that shows how many inches of snow we got on sunday. it snowed non-stop until about 8:00 that night.





This is a pic of the bird house, next to the birdbath. i could not believe all the snow balanced perfectly on the bird house. too bad the birds won't find any water or shelter in this backyard!

This is our street last night before we went to bed. so slippery and snowy...it is beautiful. you can also see our honda on the right covered in snow. it was not fun trying to get all that snow off so i could drive it today. all the snow makes me want to put up a Christmas tree and celebrate all over again! :) so, YAY for snow days....here's hoping for ONE more!
