new house
my mom & i went to utah to find a house. it was a stressful & exhausting trip, but we made it! we were in the car for like 10 to 12 hours a day driving around to all the surronding areas of ogden. we looked at a lot of houses/townhouses and a few apartments. we were starting to worry by tuesday because we had not found anything. we HAD to leave on wednesday & HAD to have a house in the works! apparently no one works in utah! ;-) the property management people were impossible to get a hold of, no one works on mondays, and places didn't open until 10! ridiculous! we finally found a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse in the city of ogden. we are located on the border of ogden & north ogden, so it is a good central location! it is about 7 minutes for adam to get to college & i still don't know which school i will be teaching at. it is about double the house we are living in right now, and the HOA takes care of yardwork (to free up some of our time!) i feel like the Lord really provided this townhouse for us. we will be paying 5 dollars more a month than what we are paying now & they pay w/s/g! we didn't want to pay too much in rent since we will still be a single income family. it worked out well & I HAVE A DISHWASHER FINALLY! it makes it more real knowing where i will be living. there is also a big park called ogden river park about 3 minutes from our house. we don't have a yard for roxy to hang out in, so walking her is giong to be super important. again, the Lord provides! :) i will post the few pics i have of the house later. we are still trying to get stuff done & it is exhausting, but we are hanging in there!

Hey Leslie,
The pictures of you and Hazel are so adorable. I hope your move to Utah goes smoothly! Who knows when I'll see you again but it's nice to have the blog to stay updated on what's going on in your life! Hope everything with your house and Roxy goes smoothly!
