The Best V~Day Yet!

As promised i am posting about our valentines celebration. adam had to work on thursday (the actual holiday), so we decided to celebrate that sunday. it was a fabulous and exhausting day. we got up early and went to church. we then headed straight for tri-cities...about 40 minutes from our church. we didn't want to have to eat out for lunch and dinner, so we brough some trail mix and water and snacked in the car. we went to petco and got roxy some fancy treats. we then went to petsmart and best buy to browse. after that we headed to the mall. i had to buy a suit because i will soon be embarking on the interview process. (soon as in like a week and a half!!) anyway, we went to a couple stores, and i found a suit that i fell in love with. if i do say so myself it does make me look quite professional. we then went on the wild hunt to find professional shoes. after hitting four (VERY crowded stores) i could not find what i was looking for. adam suggested we go look at payless...BRILLANT! sure enough i found my professional shoes waiting patiently for me on the shelf. so exciting! by the time we got finished shopping i now had a somewhat cranky and hungry husband.

so it was time for RED ROBIN! one of our absolute fave places to eat. we had delicious food, perfect service as always, and we just hung out for awhile trying to kills time until our concert started. we decided about five to go see what it was like at the venue. we were an hour early, but there were two huge lines watiing to get in....so we figured we about on time. the concerty was AMAZING! we had a blast...but we were both getting pretty sleepy towards the end. we saw jeremy camp (love him) and tobymac (love him too). they totally rocked. the best part about our concert trip was it reminded adam and i how much fun we have together. christian concert going was one of our dating hobbies, when we got married the money and time was not there like it used to be. we haven't gone to a concert in awhile. we sang and danced and had a fabulous time. it was a long concert about 3.5 hours. i was about to drop at the end of it. so, we proceeded to head home for our hour+ drive. we decided to get a dutch brother's coffee to end the night with a final bang! we sipped our coffee, sang along to our tobymac CD, and gushed about how that was one of the best concerts we have been to. it was such a special day!!
