The Official Halloween Scrooge!

I would like to start out by saying how much i really do not like this particular holiday. There are many reasons (of which i will be sharing with you shortly). My cohort had 6 hours of class today, and when we got there my teacher said why is no one dressed up? My reply, who has the time or money for a costume?! I don't like having to buy candy for strange people, and really shouldn't we be giving something healthier out to the children?? I usually have homework that has to be done, and my husband has worked the past 4 halloweens (which by the way it is one of his favorite holidays). Every time someone knocks on the door, asking for my candy that i didn't want to buy, my dog goes NUTS!! i have to control a 70 pound confused dog while trying to toss candy into their little sacks...ridiculous! Roxy can not understand why every five minutes some strange looking child is at her door. but i have to keep Roxy away from the door because most children are quite afraid of her, and even more afraid are the moms bringing the trick-or-treaters! ackkk! :) so here is me being angry and annoyed at the day. and because i love him, i have included a pic of Adam's carved pumpkin. the pumpkin that i lugged from the pumpkin patch on our kindergarten field trip. :)
